My Etsy Shop Gets a Facelift…..
I love using Picnik to edit my photos. It’s fast and easy to use and for $24.95 a year,you have access to a bunch of extra features like “curves” & “levels”(which I use lots for pix on white backgrounds).
I love the look of some of the effects like “1960′s” “Orton-ish” & “Lomo-ish” so I decided to try and do a feature photo for each of my Etsy listings using the Lomo-ish effect. I also updated my banner so my main page would have a bit more of a cohesive look…..which I find difficult to achieve.
My pieces, while they are all made using the same techniques, are often very different from each other in style. I’m a moody crafter who bores quickly so my work is ever-changing……hence the facelift to my Etsy shop. I think it works well with some of the new styles of pendants I’ve added to my shop, that have a bit of a vintage feel. I’ll update again when I see if it has any dramatic effect on my sales.
